Our web application branded Cplanet® automatically collects, sorts, catalogs and delivers - travel, location and destination information in a single web page. This all-inclusive interactive experience allows internet users the luxury to explore, save, create and share real-world destination information and relate every form of digital media.
The Cplanet® application serves individuals, communities, organizations and municipalities on numerous personal, social and economic levels. The main premise of Cplanet® is to provide a global meeting place for destinations (businesses, communities, events, etc.) and internet users seeking information about these destinations or locations.
How Does Cplanet® Do This?
It begins with a simple question - "Where would you like to go?" The internet user enters a geographic location and the global search method collects and organizes internet information by longitude and latitude - literally delivering results block-by-block, down the left and right sides of the street. These results are organized into a directory/venue tree and marked on a 2D map with contact information and driving directions.
For the first time ever internet users can select a destination and also see what is next door, across the street or down the block.
The Cplanet® intuitive technology provides the destination seven-day weather forecast, local information, travel booking, and the provides relevant local advertising and printable savings coupons for the selected destination or location.

Utilizing the Cplanet® portal internet users can explore the community and view each destinations website within the same page - while always having the map and directory available. Map Bubble Features:
The map bubble has a variety of features the user can click on to find more information about the specific destination and its surroundings.
Website: If the destination has one, clicking the website link will open it up within the Cplanet® layout allowing the user to maintain their frame of reference rather than being diverted to a new page.
What’s Close By: clicking on this feature returns businesses within a walking distance of the selected destination. The user can also specify what type of business they would like to locate.
Add to my Stuff: *Member Account feature: clicking this feature will save the active destination to the FREE users account. Internet users can create tours of past trips or explore and create future plans.
Buy this Destination: For a fee a business owner can purchase their internet Storefront® and map and manage all content and advertising relative to their destination. (See Business and Commercial Accounts)
Saving Destinations, Creating Tours and Consumer Generated Content (CGC)
Internet users can choose to add/save the selected destinations to their "My Stuff" online personal account. (Simultaneously, the application collects the global coordinates (GPS) information for later download to a handheld or automotive navigation system).
Simple entry of a User Name and Password establishes the FREE Cplanet® Membership. Members can save destinations to their general “My Favorite Places” folder or create, name and organize them by any preferred naming method. Cplanet® Members can also choose to associate/upload personal media (photos, videos, mp3) to their saved destinations and invite friends to view and blog/comment about their trips. (Acceptance of an appropriate content upload agreement is required)

Businesses and Commercial Members
Businesses, Organizations and Groups can create or improve their web presence and exposure through the Cplanet® commercial Storefront® features. Cplanet's innovative style of delivering web content organized by real world location and the integrating of consumer generated content (CGC) offers two immediate benefits:
- By associating a business' web presence to its location in the real world internet users are able to "discover" businesses that otherwise they would not know existed.
- A business can increase its exposure by simply uploading more media and content to describe their business and by encouraging patrons to "Add us to your Cplanet® Favorites.
Priority ranking in the venue directory is based on:
- Storefront® Account Members listed first
- The amount of content associated to the account further increases ranking
- The popularity of a Storefront® account and the instances of being added to non-commercial user favorites.
The priority ranking system offers Storefront® account members the ability to continually improve their directory placement results for no additional charge. This alleviates the opposition to the current "Pay-Per- Click” revenue models.
Cplanet® Custom Destination Guides
A Cplanet® Destination Guide Account is an extremely powerful tool for any type of Destination Marketing Organization (DMO). These are companies who have numerous member or have the responsibility for marketing a large number of real world destinations: Visitor and Convention Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, local publications, Events, etc.
Custom Destination Guides are generated utilizing a spreadsheet or database of the DMO member businesses. The listing is fed into the Cplanet® automated system and each destination is plotted on the map, organized into a hierarchy and added to the organization's custom Cplanet® page. Each of these member businesses can advance their directory positioning through becoming a Storefront® account member.
Note: DMO’s can purchases banks of memberships at reduced rates. This directory then becomes a recruitment and retention tool for these organizations.
Cplanet® Advertising and Sponsorship Account
A Cplanet® Sponsorship Account at its highest level is similar to the business model of the current large internet portals (MySpace and YouTube).
Global Level Sponsor
A Cplanet® Sponsorship Account allows businesses to purchase premium advertising space to promote brand or product awareness and drive traffic to their business or online service (i.e. Pepsi, Coke, Travelocity, Ford, Jeep, etc.). These advertisements will be seen on the Cplanet® home page before it has been centered on a specific geo-spatial location and on all Free User Account pages.
Regional Level Sponsor
A Regional Level Cplanet® Sponsorship Account opens up an entirely new revenue stream that has never been available to a large internet application. Regional advertising is purchased based a specific geo-spatial area (city, street, township, etc.) As the map zoom level increases, sponsorship ad's change to reflect these businesses trying to target more finite real world areas. Small to medium businesses can purchase a low cost, advertisement with a HIGHLY precise target market.
Cplanet® Mobile
The fully functional Cplanet® directory is accessible on any mobile device with internet access.
CCity® Kiosk Consumer Solutions
The CCity® interactive touch-screen kiosks offer street level access to the Cplanet® directory. The CCity® kiosks are placed in public access areas (airports, hotels, malls, restaurants, etc.) and offer immediate destination and location information and the ability for printable directions and savings coupons.
